The first quarter of the 2021-22 school year ended Oct 21, 2021. Quarter 1 was full of many exciting things, such as: spirit week/homecoming, football and volleyball and cross country home games. The students of the month were: 7th- Allyson Moore, 8th- Emma Northway, 9th- Cashton Wheeler, 10th- Wyatt Suchorski, 11th- Jasmine Bryers, 12th- Isaiah Hagopian. Mrs.Manitsas’ 2nd period class has finished a final project, read and watched the movie The Crucible. In Mrs.Behrens’ freshman English, students finished a short-story unit, made heatherbirds, and wrote a character analysis. Mr. Miller's auto shop class has started taking apart and putting back together engines. Finally, the FFA group is going to the FFA National Convention in Nashville, Tennessee. Grant Union students are looking forward to the second quarter coming up which involves basketball, wrestling, Thanksgiving, and Christmas break and hopefully many other exciting things.
